This Saturday Owen and I checked out the Mardi Gras celebration in downtown Burlington. They had great bands playing, ice carving, a costume contest, a parade, and lots of beads for sale to benefit the Vermont Food Bank. We ate lunch at an AMAZING food truck called Dolce VT, where we bought pork belly sandwiches and truffle fries. We sat and ate in the sun on the steps at the park's edge, and watched everyone walking around having fun. Even though it was cold (is it spring yet? please?), it was great to be out and about in the fresh air. Hope your weekend was great!
