3. I love a good tiered blouse.
4. A fresh idea for a pumpkin.
5. Maybe I will finally make the butternut squash soup I've been talking about for months this weekend.

A Photoshoot Date

Yesterday Owen and I drove around and took a few photos of the OldSchoolSwank bandanas I've been making for my website. It was such a sunny, crisp fall day and it felt great to get outside and enjoy October. A butterfly even landed on one of the bandanas while we were taking photos of it! Lots of new things ahead for the website that I'm excited to share with you soon, hope everyone is enjoying their week : )

Just a little reminder to appreciate the small things as you start out your week. Happy Monday!

Happy Weekend : Favorite Links

A few of my favorite links from this week to bring you into the weekend. Happy Friday!

1. Arugula Fig Pizza. For some reason, arugula + balsamic on a pizza guarantees I will eat the whole thing.
2. An artist's home in a converted factory in Australia.
3. Somehow I never found my way to visit Big Sur when we lived in California. With my parents adventuring their way into that area this year, I plan to use this guide when we visit.
4. Patchwork suede. One of those things I can't decide if I love or despise. Which usually means I love.
5. A beautiful idea for an autumn tablescape.

Fall Hike Roundup

We have been doing quite a few fall hikes lately. The temperatures have been so perfect to head out and enjoy this time of year, I love it! I got inspired to do a little fall hiking roundup of some items I've been obsessing about this month that would be great to head out into the woods with. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

1. Asildastore Life of Adventure Patch
2. New Balance Capsule Wood Trainer
3. Lululemon Skinny Groove Pant II
4. Darn Tough Hiking Socks
5. The North Face Mini Berkeley Backpack
7. Patagonia Bivy Hooded Vest

Leaves!

And for your fall viewing pleasure - lots of leaves! Owen and I got WAY too into finding cool leaves on a hike we took this week, and I think they came out way cool. We are headed to New York tonight to attend a friends wedding tomorrow, so this weekend should be fun-filled. Hope all yours are as well : )

Also, if you haven't watched the Whine About It : Fall Episode please do so right now. It cracks me up.

Weekend Recap : All Things Fall

A few photos from my weekend. I worked Friday and Sunday, but fit in a lot of fall activities in between. I visited Shelburne Farms twice with both my sister and Owen, went apple picking, attempted making a "fire cider tonic" with apple cider vinegar and failed (next time less garlic!), sampled a flight of beers at a brewery with some good girl talk and went thrifting (obviously). Hope your weekends were great : )

Happy Weekend : Favorite Links

A few of my favorite links from this week to bring you into the weekend. Happy Friday!

1. A beautiful home in my hometown of Saugerties, New York! Woot woot! And such a great design.
2. The cutest family camping trip. Babies in Patagonia get me every time.
3. Vanilla spice earl grey lattes. Bring on all the hot drinks, its October!
4. I admire Melyssa for not only sharing her monthly income report for her business, but breaking it down so we can see exactly where the money is coming from and where her expenses are going. The transparency is so interesting and helpful to those starting out (like me!).
5. I need some craft time in my life. This DIY Dream Catcher tutorial looks like just the thing.

Phew, it has been a bit since I've posted huh? Does anyone else feel like fall keeps them extra super busy? Back at it though folks so don't give up on me yet. Since the entire shop is 25% off right now for our Fall Sale (!!), I figured I would gather a little fall inspiration from two of my favorite bloggers, Sydney and Mary, and do a vintage inspiration post with some of my favorite items. Hope your week is going great!
